Description
🔧 On-Site Multi-System Calibration Projects
Overview
We deliver turnkey on-site calibration campaigns for facilities that operate dozens to hundreds of critical instruments and systems. Instead of shipping equipment off-site piecemeal, we mobilize a calibration team with portable standards to complete a comprehensive, multi-system calibration in one engagement.
This approach minimizes downtime, maximizes compliance, and ensures your facility is fully covered across pressure, flow, temperature, torque, and electrical systems with NIST-traceable results.
Scope (What we calibrate on-site)
-
Pressure systems: digital gauges, deadweight testers, transmitters (low → ultra-high pressure).
-
Flow systems: rotameters, mass flow controllers, flow benches (portable transfer standards used).
-
Temperature systems: thermocouples, RTDs, thermal chambers, dry-block calibrators.
-
Torque & force systems: torque wrenches, load cells, crane scales.
-
Electrical systems: multimeters, clamp meters, process calibrators, multifunction calibrators.
-
Industry-specific: cleanroom DP sensors, aerospace test rigs, oil & gas field instrumentation.
Test Plan & Methodology
1. Pre-Project Planning
-
Equipment inventory provided by client.
-
Risk prioritization: identify critical-path instruments (compliance-related).
-
Tailored schedule: sequence instruments to minimize process interruptions.
2. Mobilization
-
Deployment of portable primary standards (Crystal nVision, Fluke multifunction calibrators, portable dry blocks, reference torque transducers).
-
On-site environment controls (verification of ambient T, RH, pressure for uncertainty calculations).
3. Calibration Campaign Execution
-
Instruments tagged, barcoded, and logged.
-
Multi-point calibration (up to 10–12 points depending on range).
-
As-found / as-left data recorded to capture drift.
-
On-the-spot adjustments for instruments with zero/span or firmware tuning.
4. Project-Level Reporting
-
Master report summarizing all instruments serviced, traceability chains, and pass/fail outcomes.
-
Individual certificates for each instrument (PDF + CSV).
-
Uncertainty budget for each discipline (pressure, temp, flow, electrical).
-
Deviation log + CAPA recommendations for out-of-tolerance instruments.
Deliverables
-
Project summary report (one master file, audit-ready).
-
Individual NIST-traceable calibration certificates.
-
As-found/as-left records with drift trend analysis.
-
Digital asset database (CSV or Excel) for client CMMS upload.
-
Recommendations for re-ranges, replacements, or requalification frequency.
